<p>Assuming you are not applying this year, go to the dept website and download the supplemental questionaire. You can see there are some things they look for in applicants that you can improve if you don’t have them at present. For example they want to see experience in a nursing environment so if you are a HS student that is something you can get thru volunteer work or perhaps a job. Also you can become aware of the questions they will ask your recommenders, and start to think about your statement of purpose. </p>
<p>In my understanding, college doesn’t really matter that much when it comes to nursing. You’ll be totally fine going to a modest school. Save some money.</p>
