I am curious how many people applied to Syracuse's School of Visual and Performing Arts and how many were accepted? If you know the numbers, please post.

I'd like to know too. How are we supposed to know though if we're not admissions people?

papersignals, well, you could have called admissions? You might also have friends in admissions who knows.

Taxguy,
This doesn't quite answer your question, but my son and I attended the SU Accepted students reception yesterday. When they split the large group into the smaller school groups for the tours and info sessions, the dean of admissions mentioned that VPA is the largest program at SU, which she said is a surprise to many. I'm going out on a limb here, but I think she said something like 900 is the typical number enrolling each year. It stuck in my mind because I was one of those people who she said would be surprised by how large that school is. The majority of kids on the tour yesterday were admitted to VPA and I was shocked when they all stood up! If you had some rough idea of the yield, you should be able to make a fair guess as to the number accepted.
