Hey everyone! I’m not sure how active this forum is, but I was wondering if anyone knows when ED 1 decisions are released, and how (mail, portal, email). Let’s all cross our fingers!!
I THINK it’s December 15…I don’t remember where I came across that date but I’m pretty sure…also someone on the EA forum answered my question about it too. Auuuuggghh seriously though I cannot wait, I’m totally freaking out.
Ya…that’s what I was thinking too…I just wish we knew how/exactly when it is!!!
Less than a week to go…hopefully… I CANNOT wait to hear.
My daughter applied ED…totally freaking out waiting now. If someone gets the date, please post. Last year they posted the date on the Dickinson Admissions twitter, which I’m now obsessively checking every 15 minutes, lol.

Dang, still nothing on the twitter feed…fingers and toes crossed for everyone!
Just checked the applicant portal and there’s a new entry on the application checklist for “HS Final Grades” and it says “awaiting”. Hopefully that’s a good sign…
Same with my daughter, @djhjrnh. But she’s taking exams all week, and I’m sure they won’t be graded until some time next week. I hope they aren’t waiting that long! 
@catlady, I took it to mean year end grades as Fall grades have already been submitted. I’m looking at it optimistically as I can’t imagine why they would want year end grades for somebody who will not be accepted…
Mine says that too…I think that’s a good sign!
Hmmm, my son told me that his Counselor had a conversation with Dickinson Admissions today and that they will be releasing info on Wednesday due to a “technical glitch”. Wonder what that means?
No way… so now we have to wait until Wednesday to hear?? I’ve had my heart set on it being tomorrow…
Does anyone know how exactly we would find out? Is it an email or do we just keep refreshing the custom page link they sent?
I’m 99% sure it will show up on that custom page. That’s how it’s worked for all my other friends who’ve heard back from other colleges.
This is driving me nuts, so I can only imagine you kids who are waiting. Thanks for updating this thread with the glitch info and Wednesday date.
Just saw that the Dickinson Twitter (not the admissions one but the general one) just replied to a question about the ED date with a very vague answer. So frustrating. I wish they could just give us a date and time!
Another update – just saw that an admissions officer tweeted that the decisions will be posted “this week”. Still no date though!
And yet another update – (sorry for all the comments!) I just noticed that the “Awaiting HS Final Grades” thing on the portal disappeared. Maybe that was the glitch and it’s fixed now? …Meaning that we could still find out tomorrow? Fingers crossed!
