I’ve been looking online everywhere and have yet to find anything. Also, does anyone know when finalists for the Morrill scholarship are notified?
Thanks!

Mid december

Ahhh, okay, thank you. I knew it was going to be something like that but I didn’t know if it was going to be like some other universities that specifically say “Dec. 13th at 5:26pm”

I called and they said they are shooting to begin sending notices December 15th. They were pretty non-committal.

They have begun!! S reported a classmate posted her acceptance letter on Instagram. It looked like a snail mail letter because it was dated 12/10.

However, our household did not receive a letter today.

What program was she accepted into?

Oh my god I need to hear back!!

and they said “Mid December.” I asked if they had anything more specific than that.
They replied, “Yes. Mid December.”

Awesome information…

I just did a twitter search as my daughter is anticipating a decision, and I found this from a local high school:

Dear Friends:

As you might be aware, technical issues with the Common Application, which is used by Ohio State and hundreds of other institutions, have delayed the process by which applications are processed and reviewed.

Most applicants who applied by November 1 will receive their decisions in the next few days; however, as a result of the processing delays, some students might not receive a decision until the end of January.

We want to assure you that Ohio State is thoroughly reviewing all applications, and applicants who met the November 1 deadline are still receiving priority consideration for merit scholarships. If they applied to be considered for the Morrill Scholars Program and/or for Honors and Scholars Programs, they are still receiving priority consideration for those programs as well.

We understand that your students are anxious to hear from us and thank you for your continued patience while we give their applications the attention they deserve. If you have questions, please contact us at askabuckeye@osu.edu or 614-292-3980.

Sincerely,
Vern Granger

Many kids from my area are starting to find out tonight. I’m expecting an answer either later tonight or by tomorrow. Good luck!

Are they receiving emails?

No it was on their Buckeye Link accounts. A friend of mine was just deferred.

Online. Daughter was rejected from Columbus campus. Good luck to all!

Is it simply a change in status from ‘Evaluation’ to accepted, deferred, or denied?

The status changed to “Decision”. After you click the more information button, you find out! In my daughter’s case, they offered an alternate campus.

I wonder in what order they push them out. We are OOS. Perhaps we’ll found out later?

I don’t know but for reference, we are in state!

I was just admitted!

Congrats! My D just got admitted as well!

I just got accepted too
Good luck to everyone!
