does anyone know where I can find a list of books used at Yale's political science classes?

Each instructor arrives with the reading list at the onset of classes. There’s no set “core list” of books. For previous classes, you’d have to find online copies of the syllabi to get a sampling. However, they often change from term to term. My PolSci readings were sometimes tedious, sometimes enthralling. My History reading lists were always captivating…

Ditto on the change of required reading. Besides you will be shopping away at the start of the semester and the course you thought you wanted to take will be over shadowed by something else that proved to be extremely interesting. Don’t get ahead of yourself…

could you name some just for fun?

Just for fun? Well here goes: This is one the that I still remembered from my Freshman days (shortly after the earth cooled). It’s called “Essence of Decision: Explaining the Cuban Missile Crisis” – a good discussion about the processes that were underway behind the scenes of the Kennedy administration during the Crisis. The paradigms cited have very good parallels in many other contexts. Available used for about $5 from bookfinder.com

interesting will definitely take a look at that one, thanks! do you also know any good books on the people skills of political science?

what do you mean by “people skills of political science?”
