Does anyone take Spanish as a Freshman?

So I know there's a foreign language requirement, but it seems like no one really cares about fulfilling it right away.

I only got a 3 on AP Spanish, so I have to take Intermediate Spanish 063. My schedule is:

ARTHIST 80FCS: Ideas of Alexander the Great
FOCUS 99FCS: Power of Ideas
POLSCI 85KFCS: Reason, Virtue, and Rights
SPANISH 63 - INTERMEDIATE SPANISH
WRITING 20

Hey padfoot

We're in the same focus group and in the same classes within that cluster

I took 63 my very first semester in college, and the class was probably 75% freshman. I took 76 as a sophomore and it was probably 75% sophomores. There were maybe 2 or 3 upperclassmen in each.

I've also taken German 1 and out of 8 students I was one of 2 juniors, there was 1 sophomores, and then 5 freshman.

I'd say for everyone who DOESN'T start their first semester fulfilling their FL, there are 1 or 2 people who do. It's pretty common.

I guess i'll be meeting you soon then lala

how hard are spanish 63 and 76 respectively

If you do the work, 63 and 76 aren't hard.
If you don't do the often boring and pointless busywork, 63 and 76 won't be so easy.
Exams are only 40% of the grade and the other 60% is based on classwork/homework.
