Does anyone....

Does anyone like to play beach soccer? or play on the field? I wanna play soccer but idk if there is a group yet (incomming freshman lol). If anyone knows a group of ppl who likes to play for fun, mind introduce me xD?

you do realize that soccer is the number 1 sport at ucsb, right? there will be so many opportunities to join people to play, you just need to go out on campus and look!

thats good news lol. Now i just have to find ppl who also watch European soccer :). btw, santa catalina is a bit far away from the beach :(

real madrid! :D

seems like they’re trying to get the championship from bacelona once again :). But this time, kaka might be playing well enough and C. Ronaldo can spark something for Real lol.

Don’t watch La Liga. It’s kind of a joke league for me seeing as they only have 2 quality teams, a bunch of diving and acting and no defense. I prefer the English Premier League, Arsenal all the way!

yea, i only watch barca and R Madrid for la liga. But i’m a MU fan :frowning: and always will be xD. Rooney is on fire man, plus Arsenal wasnt the same when Thierry Henry left ;). I do watch Serie A also lol.

Also watch Serie A, does get tedious at times. I despise MU just because so many bandwagoners especially from America declare them their favorite team and cannot even name 5 players on the squad.

yea, it sucks when ppl bandwagon ****s. But i’ve been watching MU since i was 12 years old from vietnam :D. In the area of beckham, after he left. C. Ronaldo wasnt even that great and arsenal dominated the league. Untill later C ronaldo really proved himself, with rooney’s improvement also. Yea, so i’m kinda a long time MU fan. AS for milan, i watched them when Shevchenko was brilliant. the era of him, cafu, maldina, and gattuso
PS: also i hate the fact that a millionaire provides chelsea with tons of money, that’s just not cool. Samething with Real, their whole danm team is composed of top-of-the-line most the time :(

Yeah Chelsea were a club with barely any history of winning until the Russian billionaire bought them. What housing assignment did you receive by the way?

santa catalina third floor :). you play soccer too? if so, we can go out sometimes with a ball lol :D. I hate Chelsea to the gut. They ruined my fav player, Andriy Shevchenko >.< But luckily that John Terry missed the penalty in 2008, that’s how we MU won the champion league lol xD. Last season sucks tho, they won by 1 point D:

Used to play a lot as a kid, haven’t really played in years. I’m in 3rd floor of San Nic.

same, but recently i’ve started to play again. But at least we can play sometimes for fun lol ;). Still cant figure out how am i gonna watch soccer when i’m no longer using at&t for espn in college :(

this is one of the reasons I can’t wait to start school! life just isn’t as good when I’m not out on the field haha

I got San Miguel, which I really don’t know much about, but I hope I can meet some footy buddies before long!

Some of you might have heard about the GauchosPlay website before, but in case you haven’t, here’s the link to the intramural outdoor soccer team page:
[Outdoor Soccer | Sports Offered | Intramurals](http://www.gauchosplay.com/submit-an-article/intramurals/sports-offered/outdoor-soccer)

not really looking for a team since it takes a lot of schedule/practice/equipments/disciplines. I’m just looking for some friends to play with when i have some free time :). But if that’s the best choice, then i guess i have to sign up for a team since i can’t stop playing soccer :3
