<p>depends on the college. for me, cal didnt accept my US history AP exam as a igetc requirement but rather just extra credits.</p>

<p>I would think that it counts as biological science. At my school, General Biology counts as biological science. I took Physical Geography + Phys. Geog. Lab for that portion of the IGETC.</p>

<p>biology is a biological science… At DVC a 3 or higher on ap bio fulfills the biological science and lab requirement.</p>

<p>I had the same question and following my counselor’s advice, I completed the evaluation form for AP Biology, so now it is counted as my biological science with lab and I got 4 credit semester units under “Transfer Credit” on my transcript. I put it in the biological science with lab on myBerkeleyApplication IGETC form and I also counted it under credit units for the UC Transferable Courses Summary.</p>
