So I’m going to be going to grade 12 this September… But by the end of April, I’m pretty sure I’ll have a college that has accepted me… So I was wondering if taking AP exams in my senior year mattered at all? Does it still help with admission to colleges? Do the scores I take in next May change my chances of a better university?
The short answer is no, which is why a lot of seniors choose to just mess around on those tests and have fun with it. But the long answer is yes, you should still try to do will. If you need to transfer for whatever reason, low scores will come back to bite you in the butt. Also, you can place out of a lot of introductory courses and get college credit with strong AP scores.
