Does AP Micro and Macro (each semester long courses in my high school) count as 1 AP or 2?

Not 100% sure, but I think its 2.

I think so too since they both encompass different material, but is anyone 100% sure?

Well when you actually take the tests, it’ll be two separate tests.

However, in many schools (including mine) both are combined in a single AP Economics class, which teaches the material for both courses.

Sent from my HTC VLE_U using CC

View the Collegeboard website, you should be able to pull information. I think its 2.

They’re two different classes completely, but they’re both .5 credits.

I don’t know about schools combining the two.

I’m taking AP Micro econ on FLVS and Macro in school in the spring. They’re both different classes.

I am 1000000000000000000000000000000% sure they count as TWO AP’S because there are two exams that you will take at different times. My preferred university (Umich) gives credit for both SEPERATELY! However, schools deal with them differently. At my high school, AP Micro counts as a yearlong class and you get 1 credit from it.
If you don’t believe me, check the collegeboard website to see the list of courses. You will see that there are two AP Economics courses offered (micro and macro). The same thing applies for AP Physics C (mechanics and Electromagnetism)
