<p>At my school, first semester is micro the second is macro. Are these two separate exams, and do they count as two different APs?</p>

<p>Yes. They are separate classes and DEFINITELY separate exams, which you’ll take at different times and have to register for each separately. Schools deal with them differently, however, which confuses a lot of students. At my school, AP Microeconomics is a full-year class. I wish it and AP US Gov were a one-semester classes so I can take both in the same year. Consider yourself lucky. Although, your teacher will have to cover more material than mine in less time.
