does berkeley have its own discussion forum?

does berkeley have its own discussion forum? other than CC.

cyberbears.org - the Cal athletics boards

Note: do NOT go to cyberbears.COM - that's a porn site.

Noooope. I started a thread about this a while back. I noticed that Cornell University has an official one for admitted students and such. I'll see if I can push for one but given its beauracracy's reputation I wouldn't count on it. Worse comes to worse there's always CC. :)

I really like ucberkeley.livejournal.com. It's very very active and informative (perhaps less so during the summer months?) and often quite fun. I think it would be worth getting a livejournal for

I use the livejournal 'forum' as well but I think hands down this CC forum is the most active and whatnot. If you want a answer quick, one should post here.

Edit: This forum also has the most thorough answers.

However this is still CC and filled with prospective students. I am perhaps optimistic in thinking that a Berkeley forum, purely of and for Berkeley students/prospective students, would be even more active than this sub-forum.

At least we are living up to the Berkeley image by remaining very opinionated on these forums. yay.

There's a myspace group for the class of 2010 and the spring admits of 2010. But eh, that's myspace... not much discussion goes on there.

http://BerkleyLive.Net ---Made by Berkeley students for Berkeley students.

It was just launched. One of my friend is on the development team. =O

There are some facebook groups amount others.

Oh oops.

It is BerkeleyLive.Net - Index

Bad typo. =(

There's also calforum.net so you really can pick, I suppose.
