I hear Biomedical engineer B.S. degree teaches you little bit of every engineer aspect and when you graduate, you won't be good at anything(meaning you won't be excellent in any field of engineer with knowing just portion of other engineer degree portion). My friend is saying it's better to get Electrical Engineer degree and go into Biomedical engineer degree is this true?

I've heard similar things. I think it's true.

I think it's better to go with a mechE or EE degree for undergrad and then go on to biomeE for grad. I think this maximizes your options.
