Does cancelling an ap score look bad?

say i took an exam in 2008 and i cancelled it this month. does it look bad if the college i attend next year sees that it's cancelled when it gets the report in june/july? this was a self study exam. thanks in advance.

Did you really do that horribly on it?
I don’t know. Not many people cancel their scores.

Normally, the only college that gets your AP grade report is the one where you actually enroll. (When you are applying to colleges, you usually just self-report AP test scores and don’t need to send a formal report from the College Board.) Since you have already been admitted to the college by then, a cancelled score on your AP report has no impact on anything (except for the fact that you can’t get AP credit for that particular subject).

i don’t think they can even tell that you canceled an exam

I have that same question, except it applies to NYU and Bryn Mawr’s new testing options.
You can either send in your SAT I with 2 SAT II’s, or the ACT, or 3 SAT II’s, or 3 AP’s.

Question: If chose the last option, 3 AP’s, and you decided to cancel one of your AP’s, would they know? Would it be frowned upon?

Cancelled scores do not show as you have to approach the college about getting the credit for the class by filling out a form they provide.
