Does CC GPA transfer over to UT? Will Cockrell look at this GPA to internal transfer?

<p>Does your Community College GPA transfer over to UT? I have a 3.6, when I first enroll at UT, will it say my GPA is 3.6 or 0.00? I ask because I'm thinking of retaking a course in cc to raise my GPA so I can internal transfer into Cockrell (admitted to CNS). </p>

<p>To internal transfer, I know they look at your in-house GPA to see if you have at least a 3.0, but do they also look at your overall GPA (if they take CC GPA)? </p>

<p>almost always what transfers is the credit not the grade … so, you’ll start over from let’s say 4.00 to be positive :)</p>

<p>Hmmm… I asked my sis who transferred to UNT and she said her GPA transferred over?? So do some Universities take CC GPA and some dont?</p>
