So I read that college algebra doesn't transfer which is understandable. I took 15 hours this semester one of which doesn't transfer, and 17 next semester. I'm trying to apply for Fall 2014, and I was wondering if that would then put me under 30 hours since math is 4 hours.

They do count it into your GPA so it would only make sense that they have to count it toward 30 hours.

I believe it depends on your major. I know the College of Natural Sciences doesn’t give credit for anything that transfers as M 301; I’m not sure if there’s equivelent policies for other schools.

Call and ask.

This is from the COLA transfer guide 2013-2014:
“College Algebra (MATH 1314) does not satisfy the mathematics requirement and may not count as elective credit in the College of Liberal Arts, but grades and credit count toward transfer admission.”

So it counts when transferring but wont be accounted for after? Well that’s okay, just as long as it doesn’t put me under 30 hours.
