Does Columbia accept more asians than other Ivy League schools?

A bunch of people from my school got accepted, and I noticed that all of the accepted were really smart, 4.0 GPA, asians who were JUST good at school. Does Columbia accept more of these people compared to Harvard or other ivy league schools?

Look at the common data set for breakdown. Enrollment and Persistence section, I think section B. I’m kind of surprised you think you can draw conclusions from looking at just your HS out of the thousands in the US?

They also accept a lot of Caucasians. The only reason any college would accept “many Asians”, is because they’re all highly qualified. They come from families who push their kids to do great in school. My parents do the same bc we’re african immigrants.

@BrownParent I’m not only looking at my HS, others in the area too

OK, so tell us if the CDS confirms your theory. Why not use that comprehensive data than your local incomplete observation? I’m using collegedata for convenience, not sure if it is a year behind.

Columbia - composition of US students
2.2% American Indian/Alaskan Native
22.4% Asian
13.5% Black/African-American
17.2% Hispanic/Latino
38.4% White
6.3% Unknown

12.% international

Harvard- composition of US students
0.2% American Indian/Alaskan Native
20.9% Asian
7.4% Black/African-American
10.5% Hispanic/Latino
6.7% Multi-race (not Hispanic/Latino)
0.1% Native Hawaiian/ Pacific Islander
49.8% White
4.4% Unknown

10.7% international

@BrownParent‌ Alright alright, got your point. A simple answer would’ve been sufficient instead of an accusation and a question, but okay.
