Does Columbia give out that many AP credits?

I went to the bulletin and checked out each departments and it seems like
5 on AP Bio, 5 on AP Calc BC, and 5 on Macro/Micro are all considered as college credits.

Is this true? I checked each department but I am just not sure whether a selective college like Columbia gives out that many credits

You can get a max of 16 elective credits for your AP classes (elective because they don’t count towards your major). But you may have to take additional classes to get those credits. For example, I got 3 points of AP Chem credit only after I took a chemistry class at Columbia.

I don’t know the exact URL, but you should check out the webpage for Center of Student Advising. It has a page about AP credit.

they give credits for fives and sometimes fours
