Does Cornell ask for First Quarter Grades (ED)?

see title...............

They ask some people for them

Did they ask you?

No, I think they only ask when they need help making a decision or want to check on your performance.

Discussion from last year

and discussion from like 5 recent threads too...just search...you might find an answer on your own once in a while.

sorry......

They asked my guidance counselor last year to send first quarter grades, I was getting good grades in all AP classes. If I was borderline it pushed me over, if they just wanted reassurance, they were reassured.

Even if they don't ask you for them, but you feel you might be a borderline candidate but you are getting good grades first quarter, it couldn't hurt to send it.

If you don't send them it's not going to hurt you, and if you do send them and they are good, it could only help you.

Im praying that they don't ask me for first quater grades because if they do it will almost definately be because they want to see how I'm doing in calculus because math is the weakest part of my app (low 90s, 690s on both SAT1 and Level 2). My calc grade will likely be in the 80s so if they call its over for me.
