Hey! I was just wondering. Does Cornell or Ithaca have buses that constantly take students to NYC? Is it a daily thing? jw cuz I live about 10-15min from NYC and it would be very convenient for me when coming home.........

Yes, they have busses that go into the city and out onto Long Island... I'm not sure how often, but I asked in my CAAN alumna and she said that they do in fact have a bus system that operates during breaks/weekends. :)

check this out here:

i know a few people i wouldn't mind throwing on one of those busses with a one-way ticket.

Go big red! :)

In addition to the new (expensive) Campus-to-Campus bus, I believe Shortline Bus has 7 daily routes between Ithaca and NYC. They make a lot of stops along the way though, so the trip can be long. With the student weekend discount, it works out to $60 roundtrip. They stop at three spots on campus (north, west, c-town), so it's relatively easy to walk to even if you have luggage. Last I knew, you could get on at any of these spots without a ticket, and they drive you down to the Ithaca bus depot where you purchase the ticket.
