Does Cornell pick the better of ACT/SAT score?

<p>Anyone know? </p>

<p>I'm concerned because my ACT score was alot better than my SAT score. But apparently I'm required to send all my SAT scores because they don't participate in Score Choice on the CollegeBoard.</p>

<p>yes. cornell will see both scores but they will consider the higher one</p>

<p>Both of my daughters only had ACT scores, and both were admitted (and we live in the Northeast). Good luck!</p>

<p>All colleges at Cornell take the ACT instead of the SAT I.</p>

<p>What are you talking about? Cornell accepts the SAT just fine.</p>

<p>For all ACT-ers: You are only exempt from subject tests requirements if you apply to ILR.</p>

<p>This sounds right. As for them choosing your best score, I can’t vouch for whether or not they did for me because my ACT and SAT were virtually equally so I’m not sure it would’ve made a difference which one they chose (35 vs 2380), but a friend from another school (same year as me) got in with a 35 ACT and a 19something on his SAT, so I think it’s safe to say they used his better score.</p>

<p>I took both and I didn’t even bother sending SAT scores and only sent ACT. I also didn’t take subject tests for CALS AEM but I was accepted ED.</p>

<p>Yes, I plan on taking Subject tests for History, Chemistry and Math II. I’m currently in APUSH, AP Chem and Honors trig/precalc. I won’t have a problem with either of those tests, will I (if I take it in June 2010)?</p>
