My D took SAT when she was in 7th (or 8th) grade and got the grand honor award. Does this help her getting into JHU?
No, sorry. Of course, as she did that well on it in Grade 7/8 she won’t have trouble with it in Grade 11!
Fwiw, JHU emphasizes grades > test scores.
My daughter was admitted to JHU today. I am not sure if the grand honor award helped. But we are extremely happy for her!
Congrats!! hope she has a wonderful time there. I know she’s clever- but my guess is that she has also worked hard along the way- nice to see that work bear fruit
