Does everyone have their popcorn ready for Harry & Meghan?

This is an odd hypothetical.

Meghan has played the victim since she was a kid. That is what the South Park episode was getting at—all public relations campaigns for them/her center around playing the victim.

At least for me, her lack of appeal has nothing to do with race. I didn’t even know she was biracial until she pulled that card.

Very true, which is why it bothers me to see people presenting opinions as established fact.

Everybody’s entitled to their own opinions, but not their own facts.

Apparently, this is to be the case; H&M will have been / are about to be provided an apartment within Buckingham Palace

Buckingham Palace accomodations when they visit the UK and an invitation to the coronation. Mmmm…. Will and Kate may move into the Royal Lodge and Eugenia, who is pregnant and currently renting Frogmore from Harry, may move into Will and Kate’s current residence Adelaide Cottage at Windsor. Guess Charles does have a plan and as usual it’s not all about H&M and how they’re always mistreated.

All Harry and Megan have said publically is that one sentence affirming that they were asked to vacate Frogmore. That’s it. They have not said anything about this being part of being mistreated or that this was about them.

No, other posters have said Charles is mistreating them for evicting them from Frogmore.

So you knew Meghan as a child? Interesting.

And because you didn’t know she was biracial the racist attacks she has experienced from the British press don’t matter.? Also interesting.

From the article:

Removal vans have also been spotted on the Windsor Estate.

Can you just imagine the U-Haul truck backing up to Frogmore Cottage?

You are the one who used the word “mistreating” as if H and M are acting like they have been mistreated.

True. However, Omid Scobie has tweeted about the ‘cruel eviction’, and that they were ‘stunned’. He has been a useful ally for them in the press and is used by them in a way that other members of the royal family reportedly use the press to their advantage.
I really do feel as if the media is blowing this all out of proportion for clicks though, and it works!

Harry has made it clear that he wanted out. Even wrote a whole stupid book about it. So now his dad gave him what he wanted and he’s out of the house. YOU DON’T GET TO WHINE ABOUT IT NOW!

Omid Scobie also has his own agenda:

Plus a new book coming out in August.

Based on info from upstream from @momo2x2018 and other posters:

“Thank you for that link. As suspected, H&M were on an annual lease, expiring March 2022, presumably renewed through March 2023 - therefore not renewed beyond March 2023, they were asked to vacate”

I wonder if he enjoys Scooby snacks?

yes I know!

When the landlord chooses not to renew your lease, it means the tenant is not given the option to renew. That’s entirely different from the tenant choosing not to renew.

“Their lease expires in March” can either mean they voluntarily chose not to renew, or Charles refused to allow them to renew.

So in your view, if there have ever been any death threats against any other royals then it’s no big deal and Harry and Meghan are just being whiners again? The fact that the rest of Harry’s immediate family receives millions of pounds worth of round the clock security from the day they were born (or married into the family, while Charles yanked away Harry, Meghan and infant Archie’s security a short time after they left England for Canada is not worthy of concern? Particularly, when some thoughtful soul tipped off the media about the very isolated location where they were living, causing them to have to flee to California because the border was about to be closed.

No, I don’t buy the both sides argument when the British Royals were feeding poison to the tabloids (with whom they are quite cosy) about Meghan in particular in order to deflect attention from the activities of Andrew, William and especially Charles and Camilla. Perhaps you would think it was quite funny if your birth family were selling you out and putting your spouse and children’s lives at risk but I’m just not able to see the humor in being publicly attacked in the press, resulting in very serious death threats.

I would appreciate seeing a link where I stated that “everyone who disagrees with me is racist”.
However, it is very interesting to see that a young American woman who has been quite successful both in her acting career and in her advocacy, and who has always been very well liked by literally everyone who has ever worked with her, suddenly becomes vilified and torn to shreds the moment it’s discovered that she’s in a serious relationship with a senior member of the monarchy. Even her ex husband (who was offered money to talk to the tabloids about her) refused to say anything against her. She is literally the only member of the British royal family who has ever been self supporting, paying her own living expenses through her adult life.

But suddenly, she’s a narcissist, she’s jealous of the perfect Madonna Kate, she’s abusive to her staff, and a million other nasty things. No one else in that Firm every puts a foot wrong (well, they’ve been covering up Andrew’s antics for decades) but this evil shrew came in and turned the institution upside down with her villainy. Could it be because she’s American? Divorced?

To say that the attacks on her don’t contain a strong element of racism is disingenuous, to put it mildly.
