Does Gates even care about SAT/ACT/Standardized Tests?

There's no place on the application to list them, and they don't mention anywhere about sending your scores. Heck, they don't even mention sending your transcript until you're selected as a finalist, which makes me think that it's just there to make sure you make the GPA requirement. It's annoying, because standardized tests and GPA are pretty much my strongest points. I'm not lacking in community service, though a little lacking in actual leadership positions, and I wish I could have test scores and GPA back me up. Guess I'll add in a mention of them into my essays...

I think the scholarship is much more focused on comm service/leadership.

I would definitely focus on making that the best parts of your app. They seem concerned with GPA mostly to meet the requirement which is like a 3.3 or something, which isn’t like high or anything.

Most of the applicants chosen have high GPA’s but I think that’s just because people with high GPA’s are more concerned with scholarships/community service.

They really don’t care about SAT/ACT, so I don’t really think mentioning it in your essays would really help. I agree with thispakistanigir’s information above too.
