So AP scores just arrived. I did ok but not great. I was wondering if I don't submit my scores to colleges does that look bad. Nothing lower than a 3 I promise, but will colleges wonder if I don't send my scores? Thanks!

Self-studied: it’s okay not to submit
AP class on transcript: adcom assuming you failed the test= submit

Most schools don’t use them for admissions. They use SAT Subject Matter tests. Others say they will look at whatever you submit as part of the “holistic” process. Send them after you send in your housing deposit so you can get some credit and placement bennies.

So I should submit then. If I got 3s in classes I got an A+ in, they’ll assume it was an easy class? Even if it wasn’t. It just wasn’t really taught to the test.

Do ivies, Chicago, and Duke want them for admissions purposes?

No, seeing as they are optional. Still submit them however, since they are considered when reviewing applications (and adcoms don’t like it if you are consciously hiding something from them).
