<p>I applied regular decision and I'm yet to hear back but its my top school and as of now, I don't meet the admission standards for students with a GPA below 3.00. After this term I most likely will have a high enough GPA for my SAT scores but I'm just curious if you think it would be beneficial to write a letter to Oregon explaining this is my top school and I'm showing academic improvement..</p>
<p>Yes, it would be a good idea. Also, you should see about getting a letter of recommendation from your guidance counselor and/or a teacher. Oregon is very competitive this year, and the more info you give them the better.</p>
