my school has this strict policy, so we cant skip math classes. so i will only have taken 3 ap's before senior year... :(

Yes, they like pre-sr year APs. After all, you get graded and take the natl test. Ie, they can see your results. 2. Sr year APs won’t be completed before coll appls go in.

well since your school doesn’t let you do that, Yale will def. take that into account and it wont hurt you.
it only looks bad if APs are offered to you and you dont take them

I have to second what gongsterr said. At my school, APs aren’t even offered until junior year and as a result, most people only have two or three by senior year, yet we still send several people to top schools every year. It’s because that’s all that’s available. Plus, if you REALLY want more APs, you can try self-studying some.

Exactly. The Yale admisisons committee will look at your course load in terms of what your school offers. However, this applies to all years of high school, so if your school offered many APs in junior and sophomore year, it would look much better to have taken them. If your school didn’t (and I’ve even heard of schools that only allow AP classes senior year) it won’t hurt you.

FireLion, top schools would be concerned about your making a three-letter word even smaller.

what tht supposed 2 mean euroazn?

A year and a half later. Really?

Closing thread.
