Does it matter that I'm also applying to MIT EA?

<p>I'm applying to both MIT and UChicago EA. Would that affect my chances at Chicago, since I told my interviewer that Chicago was my #1 choice at the time but now is pretty much on par with MIT?</p>

<p>EA at MIT isn't single-choice. I don't really think it even gives that much of an advantage over RD, just lets you know the decision earlier.</p>

<p>I'm applying EA to U Chicago and UNC Chapel Hill. I don't think it will hurt my chances; I too made it quite clear U Chicago was my first choice.</p>
