Does it matter where i go to school for Pre-Vet?

I have been accepted into

Morrisville State College in NY
and Penn State
Waitlisted for U of MN twin-cities
and waiting for UC Davis

Honestly right now out of all of the colleges i am most interested in attending Morrisville State College. Mostly because the major is Equine Science and Management and lets you focus on either Breeding, Racing or Rehabilitation (my choice) BUT i am worried that if i choose MSC that it will hurt my chances of getting into Veterinary School.. So my question is. Is it all that important where you go to school so long as you get your course requirements and good grades along with animal experience?

No, it is not important where you go to school. What they care about are the animal experience (which includes working in the presence of a veterinarian. You need a minimum of 150 hours of animal experience under veterinary supervision, I believe), your GRE score, and whether you’ve fulfilled all the course requirements.

UC Davis tends to accept more in-state applicants than out-of-state applicants though.

Thank you! I actually was accepted to UCDavis so I will be going there.
