Does it matter where you get your undergraduate degree from for medical school?

I am currently in UW-Oshkosh and I am contemplating if I should transfer to UW-Madison. UW-Madison is more prestigious but it would mean that I would have to get a job which would reduce my study time, therefore increasing my chances of lowering my GPA. (UW-Madison classes are also harder by default)
My stats at UW-Oshkosh are:
Sophomore
GPA: 3.57
Major: Biology/Pre-Med

Thoughts? Any Wisconsin residents?

Your GPA is borderline for med schools. You can’t risk it dropping…especially if you’d have to work more.

I don’t think you should transfer because you’d have a harder time getting LORs at a new school.

Stay put…and get better grades.

Get your GPA up. Forget transferring, no effect.
