Does JHU give out full rides?

Honestly zombie after reading these thread I really feel like I need to comment. I’m trying to sympathize with the fact you are deciding about colleges but let me just sum this up for you and stop dragging it out and pardon me for being blunt but I have a huge pet peeve against emoticons only responses that drive me crazy.
No top tier university really gives merit scholarships anymore unless it’s a mixture of need base merit. They don’t need to. Schools like USC gwu and nyu have them because they try to give a big incentive for students to go there. Also top tier school kids in general are all bright so if you are hoping to awe admissions with your cv and grades so that they throw money at you, you are in for a rude awakening.
No city is completely safe. There are parts of Boston that are filled with crime so I guess MIT is out of the running for you. If a person is that stupid to knowingly enter bad parts of a city then they deserve whatever they get. Period. Go south on Charles yes it’s gonna suck. Go on university parkway if I remember is the name of the rode across from the stadium the area is really nice and charming.
Party scene. You got to be $&@^*+= kidding me. There’s a reason why schools say they are diverse. People have different personalities. You have partiers and you have studiers, then you have people in between. It’s not a frigging benedictine monastery.

Sorry everyone. After careful review of this thread I did notice that I came off wrong. (I even started to hate myself lol). Just so you know I am not that way in real life and normally not on here either.
