<p>Hello All! I was wondering how much your "prospective major" actually helps when getting into college. The reason I ask is because I am an outstanding student, in French. I've won many international competitions, gone to a state honors program and win other frech competitions. It's almost like a sport for me. Anyways, being that my achievements in French are so high up, if I put my prospective major as "French" on my application to a school, will they be more likely to accept me than if I were to put like "Chemistry" just because they can see I exceed in my major area?</p>
