Does Michigan care more about the common app essay or their supplements?

I have spent a good amount of time on all of the essays and I was wondering if anyone had any idea.

Both will be important, but the supplement needs to demonstrate a keen understanding of, and interest in, the University of Michigan…and how you fit in that picture.

Whichever prompt that would make the adcom knows you more or reflect something interesting/outstanding about you would be the more important essay.
