Does my application seem sound?

Hello, I'm a senior applying to Chapman's Conservatory of Music, and I was curious if my application seems sound to the CU parents on this forum :)

Here's the details:
-I have a 3.4 Weighted GPA, so it's undercut from the 3.77 Average this year.
(However, I'm hoping that it won't be too "underbudget" because I am applying
as a Voice Major, and I don't know what the average for that major is)
-I have an 1860 SAT superscore
-I have a 31 ACT score (so far, I'm waiting on new scores to come in).
-I had a 6 on the writing test, however, but I'm thinking that will be higher with the new scores coming in.
-I show an upward progression from the beginning of sophomore year through the end of junior year in my GPA.
-A list of Honor and AP classes taken:
Honor: Chemistry, Math Analysis, English 11, Economics
AP: Biology, US History
-Am an AP Scholar

-Extracurriculars include (in the state of California):
all regional honor choirs (in CACDA) from freshman year onward
state honor choirs from sophomore year onward
western division honor choir sophomore year and this upcoming year
Idyllwild's summer camp program for three years, the first for graphic art and the next two for choral music.

-I study karate, and as community service, I teach karate classes to children during the summer for free
-I have been actively involved in a political discussion club on our campus, being treasurer then vice-president, respectively, for two years.
-I lead the male section of our school chamber singers
-I study piano and voice, and have completed CMEA's certificate of merit program (theory and piano performance), levels 1-9. I am playing for panel (difficult) in LA next year

~~~
Sorry for the mess. Thoughts?
Looks like you’re definitely in, but wouldn’t your auditions play a larger part?
Oh and I’m not a parent…
I’m looking to do as best as I can on my auditions :slight_smile: I’m a male tenor, so I’m hoping that gives me a leading edge as well. I talked to a lot of the faculty this last weekend (Discover Chapman Day!!), and they expressed how much they need men, especially tenors this year.
But I’m still nervous about getting in!! It’s my dream school…
Looks like you have decent SAT and ACT scores, so that’s a big plus. Are you looking for merit-aid? Your GPA might be a little low for their merit-aid, but you can try for a talent scholarship. There’s only one way to find out, is by applying. Anything is possible. Best of luck!
I had a question Ocelite. I noticed that you were a parent of a CU student (I’ve looked through the posts on this forum for more info), and I was wondering if you knew if the average financial aid package, which students received, included merit aid?
Here’s a couple of links that should help answer any questions you may have concerning financial aid information.
