I would be very interested in that (Yeah, I am guilty, I applied to way more she allowed me to, I am a rebel)
You realize that sheās the one sending your transcripts, right?
It may be a matter of, say, only your first 10 going out in the first batch, and the rest getting done after sheās taken care of your whole class.
@bjkmom what do you mean? all the universities I applied to have all the transcripts neededā¦(I mean, provided by her)ā¦becauseā¦itās automatic on the commonapp
Schools arenāt going to take your word for your grades.
Theyāll want an official transcript, submitted by your school. That means your guidance counselor. In my school, kids submit a āblue cardā that tells College Placement where to submit transcripts. They call it something else in my sonās school.
But itās not āautomaticā-- someone in your school does it.
@bjkmom that is what I meant, she submitted my gradesā¦and the new common app works that way that it does not matter how many universities you apply to, the documents are submitted to every university on your common appā¦but this is not the question I was asking about -.-).
(btw, wesleyan university is the last one I applied for and I just checked my profile - they have everything submitted from my counselor, and I know I am right.
Why did you ask then?
Yeah on the common app your counselor uploads one copy of your transcript and then that is sent to every school you apply to. However your counselor can see the schools your applying to when she uploads your mid year report.
@NickFlynn but my question is not whether I can do that- I know i can. My question is ācan she see the universities I applied to?ā Do you know the answer, please? (for example, she will submit my mid-year grades to my commonapp, but will she also be able to see the list of universities I applied for?) Please, let me know if you know, thank you
I would assume that she can see all the schools.
@NickFlynn wellā¦too bad, I will awkward but there is really nothing she can do to hurt me ā¦ thank you, have a good year
I canāt imagine that she would want to āhurtā you.
Those guidelines exist in schools so that the guidance counselors can actually get to everyone in the class.
Yes - she can.
How many schools did you apply to?
