Does my previous college gpa matter?

I graduated from a community college and got a certificate that will let me work right after I get some experience in the field. My gpa in a community college was a 3.9. I had started off at a four year college but I didn’t like any major so I transferred to a 2 yr. At the four year, I did poorly my first semester (1.6), was put on probation, brought it up to a 2.5, and then was put on probation again my third semester where I failed all my classes except for acing one bringing my gpa to a 1.5. I had failed one class before but never failed almost all my classes like I did that semester. I had chosen a new major that semester and had no direction of what I wanted to w my life since I hated the new major i chose after leaving the engingeering major I was in my first year. The classes I took my last semester at the 4 yr have no relation to the program I did at the community college. Will employers ask why I suddenly failed the semester even though the career doesn’t require a bachelor degree so technically the courses I took at the four yr were pointless and can’t determine if I can succeed in the job or not? Should I attended the four year on my resume even though I never graduated from there and was only there for 3 semesters? Will employers even ask for my transcript from the 4 yr college?
