Yeah...umm.. never got that letter, does that mean... umm.. we are not in?

i havent gotten a yay or nay either...i live in south florida, so im always at the end of the line for mail....good luck!

Don't panic - in 2002, S's letter came two days after a kid who lives two blocks away heard. Both accepted. In December, D's early decision acceptance came one day after a classmate got his. We live less than 3 hours away. All it means is the mail is slow and arbitrary! Good luck!

well, my friend called up the admissions people and they said if you didn't get a letter today, you probably didn't get in, since they only send acceptances priority mail (which is supposed to arrive within 2-days). I was so scared when I got the mail today since a friend got her acceptance yesterday, but I was accepted, sooo exciting for me! But maybe your mail is just really slow, don't write it off until you have the letter in your hands. (Advice I didn't take myself, since is was SURE yesterday that I didn't get in.)

I'm from New York and I remember getting my acceptance about 5-days after all my classmates. The other four kids who applied were all smart kids and all got accepted. I thought that they probably sent all the acceptances out together and I might get rejected. But my letter just came really late. I remember hating the uncertainty and using the payphone everyday to ask my mom if any letters came in. I wouldn't worry if you didn't get your letter yet, sometimes the post office messes up.
