Preferably full-ride or almost full
Not very likely…at all. They don’t give full rides or close to it to U.S. citizens very often.
But read this. It has what international students need to know.

How do I finance my education?
NYU does, in fact, award scholarships to international students submitting a first-year application. In order to be considered for scholarship, you must submit the CSS Profile successfully by the deadline. Any U.S. Citizens or Permanent Residents must also submit the FAFSA.
Please be aware that scholarships for non-U.S. Citizens or Permanent Residents applying as first-year students are limited, and non-U.S. Citizens and Permanent Residents applying for transfer admission or their second bachelor’s degree are not eligible for financial aid.
Now it doesn’t.
(NYU is notorious for lousy financial aid even for American applicants).
OP, please post a general question in the Financial Aid forum about aid to international students. There are some schools with more money for them. Or do a search on previous posts.
