Does one need to take Math 53 for ECON 101A and 101B?

I'd really rather take 101A with Dellavinga in the Fall as opposed to 100B with Olney in the Fall. I was very good at Calcs 1 and 2 but I never took multivariate. Do you think I would be underprepared for 101A if I got Berkeley to waive the Math 53 prereq?

Look at slides 6-8.

URE FINE i took dellavigna i got an A. i knew ppl that only took 1b or calc 2 equiv. but rmbr if u decide to do 101a IT WILL BE HARD REGARDLESS not because of intense math but cuz of the intricate methodologies he simplifies the material so u just take what he gives u and rmbr it. the most 53 ull be using is partial derivatives and that u can learn on ure own
