I got a letter today saying that my application for financial aid was incomplete from Penn. It was dated March 24. I doubt this is a sign, but i might as well ask- is this a good sign?

i got all excited when i saw an envelope with the penn logo in the mail today, but saw it was from the financial office. ugh.

i was wondering this too. personally, i doubt it means anything, but there’s always hope.

haha i was wondering this too, because i got one that was dated around that time as well

the financial aid office works independently of the admissions office so dont consider it as a sign

I got the same letter, and I noticed that the last four digits of my social security # on that letter were wrong! I will definitely try to contact them about it at Mon. because the office does not open on Sat. and Sun.

Does anyone of you experience the same situation?

ya who knows. i got a similar letter from duke (their mistake, though) and ended up getting in. maybe just a coincidence, maybe not

Yeah, I got one of these too and actually created a thread about it, but I guess yours caught on more :P

It could be a sign, it could not be a sign. I didn’t even know there was a Penn Fin Aid Supplement, actually.

lol, i got one too. i got all excited like “oh snap maybe it’s a likely letter” then saw it was from the FA office asking for our 2008 tax returns… fail.

then i saw another letter from Penn in the mailbox, but it was just some alumnus thing they were sending to my uncle (dunno why he used our address). fail again.
