<p>Anyone know if they frequently do this? Our school has very few APs until senior year, so I wonder if they would be especially likely to check on progress?</p>

<p>What do you mean by that? Do you mean if the marking period ends in time to send to schools? My first MP ends on Nov. 15th. Is it possible to send in my first quarter grades even though it's past the deadline? I believe it takes up to 1.5 weeks to process all the grades (at my school) to actually generate the report cards, so it could take a while if I wanted to send MP grades to Penn. What do you think I should do?</p>
<p>I don't mean that you need to worry about sending them in - I was just asking if Penn ever calls the school asking for them.</p>
<p>That's what my guidance counselor told me when I asked her that question. She stated that the school (my high school) does not send first quarter grades unless that college specifically asks for them. So far, I have not seen that requirement on any of Penn's applications or even their checklist, so I'm assuming they don't need it.</p>
<p>depends on when/if you go to comittee. the later you get reviewed, the better chance they'll ask for your first quarter grades if you're borderline and/or have been increasing each year and they wanna see if you held it up.</p>
<p>how do they determine the order in which your app is reviewed? what if i send my apps seperately. (I sent in form 1a by mail and will submit the official app online)</p>
<p>Pimp - You may have a problem, here. Online application states do not send in Form 1A, etc. and then online Part 2,(they want either all paper or all online) or it will delay processing of your app. I'd call them if I were you.</p>
<p>i called them, 3 times, none of them seemed to be confident about what they were saying, but all of them did say it will not affect the processing of my online app. Also, I clearly stated on a checklist that i will apply online. So i think i should be fine. </p>
<p>the bigger question i have is did my form 1a count as my "ticket"? will they create a folder for me? or they will only process my app after i submit all of my stuff?</p>
<p>i also asked the a.o. about the whole "first come first serve" thing. They were trying to play it off and act all confused. I can't tell if they were acting or not.</p>
