Does Penn have Fridays off?

I heard something about Princeton having Fridays off, but does Penn? I don’t want to be misinformed here :/

I don't think any school has fridays off.. of course, if you're very lucky you can make it so you don't have any class on fridays.. I've managed only two classes for the past two semseters which is definitely do-able

Once you get to upper-level Wharton/Engineering classes (not sure about College), you'll have more 1.5 hr, 2 days a week classes that are MW or TTh. Those days will be hectic, but alot of times Fridays will be off or atleast lighter.

Yeah, noticed that Penn15.. I had one 1.5 hour class this entire year and now almost all my classes next semester are 1.5 hours.. but with 6 credits I only have 22 hours of class, so i'm happy, lol (and only two one hour classes on friday)

I applied to the College... how has scheduling been for you (anyone who is in the College)

Most college kids have around 12-14 hours of class a week, which is verry managable.. you can probably schedule friday's off if you really try, but honestly, it's not the biggest deal.. (and plus if you only have 1 or two classes, you can give yourself friday's off occasionally... lol)

what about engineering student?

Engineering has usually 18-23 or so hours a week depending on your major.. it's still do able, and like I said, i'm engineering and this semester and next I only have 2 hours of class on friday

yeah, most College kids take Fridays off! It's tougher if you're a science person though, even 200 level classes can often be MWF, but almost always in the morning, so afternoons off, woo!
This also means that if you want smaller labs/recitations to get more individual attention, schedule them on Friday.

Put it this way, I'm taking six classes and I still have no class on Friday.

college kids are KNOWN for taking fridays off...this is why campus gets pretty buckwild on thursday nights :)
i'm in engineering and have...let me count...22 hours of class this semester. I think I had 25 last semester. Friday classes? I tried to make Friday my easiest day. I have 3 hours of class. No labs or recitations, just lectures. Next semester, I have one hour of class on Friday :)
