Hello, guys.
I was just wonder if rutgers offered a major in Music Education. It says it does on its website, but on Collegeboard College Search, it does not come up when I put "music education" in the majors section. Does this occur often, or is one source confused?

Yes, but on college board, it says no music major is offered.

Well, I guess they are wrong.

WHy would you believe college board over a school’s own web site and course catalogue?

Mason Gross is a conservatory that is part of Rutgers University. The music degrees there are BM’s.

Rutgers, the university itself, offers a music major through the school of Arts and Sciences, which is a BA:

For info on different degree types, this can be helpful: http://www.peabody.jhu.edu/conservatory/admissions/tips/doubledegree.html

The BM in music education is at Mason Gross: http://www.masongross.rutgers.edu/music/MusicEd

For music education you also have the option of doing a master’s after an undergrad degree.

ALWAYS go to the school’s own web site for definitive information rather than using a mass info gathering site.

Thanks for the help everyone!!!
