Does the sat curve it's scores?

Yes, in some unique fashion. That's why you can on some SATs miss two verbal questions or leave a couple blank and still get 800/800.

The curve is determined before the exam is administered, and it is based on the difficulty of the exam.

the curve can screw you over. sometimes if you are lucky and got on one side of the curve you can make 4 mistakes and still get a 800 but it you make 5 mistakes then you are down to a 780 or 770. especailly on the math one more mistake=30 point drop!
