Does SAT2 matter much when I apply to Ivy league Schools?

Oh, I'm kind of worried.

May score was up yesterday, and I was kind of depressed. I expected 800 in US history but got only 730.

Overall, I have math2c 790 chemistry 700 (two times but same score!) and US history 730 now.

I believe(yeah.. at least believe) I can get 2300↑ in SAT1, or at least 2200.

And my GPA is quite decent. (maybe around 3.95)

Would my low SAT2 score matter much in my applying to Ivy League Schools?

you should have at least 750+ on all SAT IIs to be competitive in IVY

ugh that is NOT true.....750+ would be better than competive...I read an article (currently looking for it) where it listed the average SAT IIs of the ivies. I only remember Penn since thats the only one i plan on applying to and it was 723 which means a 750+ would put you in great position. I dont remember the exact scores of the rest but none of teh averages were 750...i think 740 was the highest.

yes, they are very important. However your IIC is fine, and your chem and USH would not be a deciding factor...neither very high or very low.

avg includes legacy, URM, and athletes. You have to shoot for the top, or you wont have a chance at admissions.

Biology M-710 (freshman year)
U.S History-800
Math IIC-800

should I retake Biology? I am going to be taking biology at a collee over the summer so retaking this in october would be quite possible?

you only need 3 sat ii's anyway. ppl who take more are just throwing money at collegeboard.

seriously...they only look at 3 at most, they're not going to let you in just cuz you took like 10 sat ii's trust me. my friend took only 2c, and ush, got above 700 on both and got into cornell.

I heard that they only look at your top two scores... Is this true? i'm unprepared for the world history SAT II in 2 weeks.

Ivies look at mainly top three, as do many large publics.
