I was waitlisted at all my top choices. Right now, Michigan is probably my best option. Problem is that most of the schools I wanted to go to were a lot smaller than Michigan (generally around 5,000 students). Everyone who goes to Michigan says it "feels smaller," but how so? Thoughts? Suggestions?

It feels smaller once you make your friends and go to clubs and get to know one another. I think size doesnt play an important role in a college because the real determination of your grades depend on your effort alone. Once you get into college, you'll join specific clubs and then you will hang out with your buds. You'll know where you belong so it doesn't feel like an overwhelming thing anymore.

That's how I see it atleast. It all depends on how much effort you're willing to put in.
