Does stanford consider 9th grade?

Hey, this is a simple question…

I’m studied in a foreign country in 9th grade, and had a messed up foreign record when it was interpreted by US registrars. THus, my 10th/11th grade GPA’s, etc… were much better than my 9th grade.

Thus, I’m looking for schools that doesn’t count 9th grade (that would boost my weigthed GPA about .5, and class rank probably from top 15-20% to valedictorian).

So, I’d like to know if Stanford counts 9th grade into their GPA?

and if they consider the class rank from all yrs or only from 10-12th grade?

Thanks for reading. I am eagerly awaiting your informed input.

Watson&Crick.

they dont consider 9th grade grades..

i dont know how they could possibly recalculate your rank..

Class rank is given to them by your school.

You might try to right to wrong (if it was in fact a mistake) rather than base your colleges choices solely on places which don't look at 9th grade grades.

everything is considered...but if you show an upward trend...say a C/B avg in 9th grade to a B/A avg in senior year...

this plus amazing SATs/APs/ECs...

what other top schools don't count 9th grade grades?

we're getting two different answers. one guys says they do another guys says no

No, they don't.

I know for a fact they don't consider freshmen grades.

Stanford reranks you to their own methodology.

Stanford doesn't recalculate Gpa anymore, so it's irrelevant.

So i have no idea how they would rerank you ^
