I know Michigan does not look at them and this remains one of my top choices, do you know which other schools follow the same? I have heard there is actually a website listing which schools do not consider 9th grade grades, if anyone knows of it please share it with me. I had a bad 9th grade year but have been on a major upward swing since. Thanks:)

I believe that most/all schools dont check your 9th grade. I know that none of the UCs check 9th grade (only check 10, 11 for calculating gpa), I also read that 1/10 schools check 9th grade (Sorry if i didn't answer your question, but I hope this clears some things for you).

Stanford and Princeton. My Math teacher was telling me today how I'm lucky schools don't look at Freshmen grades and I should start working if I want to not fail Pre-Calc.

stanford and princeton don't look at 9th grade?wow i had no idea, but they are out of my reach although stanford has always been my #1 dream school! if my sats come in high enough i will probably send in an application for the heck of it. thanks for the advice!

Do Stanford and Princeton include first semestersenior year in GPA/RANK?
