Does taking pre-calc senior year ruin my chances?

So currently I have taken
Algebra 1
Geometry
Algebra 2
and now that I’m a junior I’m currently in STEM pre calc. But I’m considering dropping the STEM program (I’ve been in it since 7th grade) so I don’t have to take STEM precalc…the STEM class goes crazy fast and I struggled to even keep up last year with STEM algebra 2. I want to major in language and become a translator/interpreter so do you think dropping the STEM program and possibly pushing pre calc to senior year will look badly? I want to go to University of Delaware

Take regular preCalc either this year or next year. That is perfectly fine.

I would keep regular pre-calc this year and then next year take Calc or stats
You have to look at what your HS requires for graduation (4 years of Math) and U Del recommends 4 years of Math.

I would take four years of math, but don’t feel obligated to take the STEM pre-calculus if there is a lower level math class that you can take and understand better, and earn a good grade.

Take regular Precalculus and tie AP stats next year. It’s usually possible to switch out from a harder class to a slower pace version such as from STEM Precalculus o regular Precalculus.
