is there a difference between the community colleges??? Is one better than another that will increase my chances of getting into a higher UC?
You want to pick a community college that offers the most required transfer courses for your major so the more articulated courses available at your CCC, the better your chances for being a desirable transfer applicant. That said, your UC transferable GPA will probably the most important aspect of your application along with completion of the required courses.
You’ll need one that offers all prereqs if possible but otherwise it doesn’t matter.

Yes, you can take courses at several CCC’s as long as they are UC transferable. You will need to send transcripts from all colleges attended when applying.
